Finance a TYMCO 435 regenerative-air sweeper. New or used, challenged credit reviewed, statement-based review below roughly $400k, decisions fast, funding paced to the completed file.
Smaller footprint, same regen-air technology. The TYMCO 435 brings the closed-loop air system of the larger 600 down to a more maneuverable package, suitable for routes where the 600's overall length or width creates problems. Alley sweeping, tight cul-de-sacs, university campuses, downtown blocks with close parked-car spacing, and narrow commercial strips are all applications where operators have moved the 435 into roles the 600 could not fill. It runs the same fundamental pickup principle: high-velocity air blast loosens surface debris, the return path vacuums it into the hopper, and the closed-loop system recirculates the air column to maintain pickup efficiency without dumping a continuous exhaust stream of loaded air to atmosphere.
Hopper capacity on the 435 is 4.4 cubic yards, a slight step down from the 600's five yards but still a meaningful volume for a single-shift route. The 435 runs on its own dedicated TYMCO chassis, which is shorter and narrower than the 600 platform. Gutter brooms are available as an option and are commonly added for municipal curb and gutter routes where the brooms improve edge performance in packed gutter debris.
We finance TYMCO 435s from $50,000 up. New and used machines both go through the application-only process. TYMCO financing across all models comes through our desk, and the 435 is a regular close for us, especially for municipalities and university facilities that need the regen-air pickup without the footprint constraints of the 600.
Municipalities with route coverage that includes both arterial streets and tighter urban or residential grids sometimes run a split fleet: the larger 600 on wide arterials, the 435 on the tighter segments. That approach lets the regen-air compliance requirement be met across the whole route network without forcing a large machine into geometry that makes the route unsafe or impractical.
University and institutional facility management departments are frequent 435 buyers. Campuses have complex internal road networks with pedestrian crossings, narrow lanes between buildings, and loading dock corridors where a full-size sweeper is simply too wide to maneuver effectively. The 435's narrower chassis handles those geometries while still providing hopper capacity for a full facility pass before the first dump cycle.
HOA and community associations that have taken on their own sweeping operations rather than outsourcing find the 435 more manageable than a larger machine for their team. The machine does not require a CDL in most configurations depending on the specific chassis GVWR, and the controls are accessible to operators who have not spent years on a full-size sweeper.
Parking-lot sweeping companies that need a regen-air machine for PM-10 compliance on stormwater-sensitive commercial accounts often prefer the 435 over the 600 for lots where maneuvering a larger machine through parking rows and around landscape islands adds time to the route.
A new TYMCO 435 currently prices landing between $200k and $260k depending on options and regional dealer pricing. At that price point, the deal falls cleanly inside application-only territory and funds without requiring financial statements. Factory warranty covers the machine for the initial period, and dealers typically stock common wear parts. For buyers with a specific route starting on a known date, a new machine from a dealer avoids the inspection risk and unknown maintenance history of a used unit.
Used 435s are available through TYMCO dealers, fleet auctions, and direct from municipalities retiring the model. Machines with under 4,000 hours on the fan assembly are generally solid candidates for financing. The 435's fan and hopper seal wear closely with the 600, and the inspection criteria are the same: fan blade condition, hopper seal integrity, water system functionality, and chassis condition. Financing a used 435 follows the same application-only process as a new machine. The advance rate on a well-documented used unit is comparable to what a lender will provide on a new purchase.
For operators who want maximum flexibility on a used purchase from an auction or fleet dispersal, a pre-approval before the purchase event locks in the funding commitment so you can bid and win without uncertainty about the financing.
Applying at our desk is straightforward. Credit application, three months of bank statements, machine details. We run the file with our equipment desk and come back with approval terms, usually within one to two business days for clean files and sometimes longer for more complex credit situations. We work with multiple lenders, which improves the chances of finding the right fit for credit profiles that are not straightforward A-paper.
Once the deal is approved and documents are signed, funding happens quickly. Most TYMCO 435 deals that close at our desk are funded within seven to fourteen days from the first application. Dealer transactions sometimes move faster because the dealer handles the delivery logistics and only needs the wire to release the machine. Private-party and auction transactions add a step to confirm title and UCC lien positions, which can add a day or two to the timeline.
Application-only financing at this ticket size means the process does not grind to a halt while you gather two years of tax returns and a personal financial statement. The bank statements tell the story the lender needs to see. Most 435 buyers are in a position to submit a complete file in under a day once they decide to move forward.
Tighter routes, same regen-air compliance performance. Tell us the machine and we will have a payment range back to you by end of day. New or used, municipal or commercial, strong credit or B/C, we close it in one to two weeks. The TYMCO 600 is the natural step-up if you need the larger hopper and chassis for wider arterial routes.
Equipment questions
Clear answers before the equipment file moves to review.
CDL requirements depend on the specific chassis GVWR and state regulations. Many 435 configurations are spec'd on a chassis below the 26,001-pound CDL threshold, making the machine operable without a CDL in those states. Confirm the specific machine's GVWR before purchase if CDL status matters for your operation.
The 435's fan system moves a smaller air volume than the 600, which means it is slightly less aggressive on heavy debris loads. For standard litter and fine particulate routes, the performance difference is minimal. Where the 600 has a clear edge is in heavy leaf fall, sand, and gravel situations where greater air volume is needed to break up packed debris in the gutter.
Startup financing is harder but not impossible. We need to see a signed contract or letter of intent, a reasonable down payment (often 20 percent or more), and bank statements showing adequate capitalization to support the operation. Some startup files work; some do not. Give us the full picture and we will tell you honestly what we can do.
Yes. TRAC leases are a common structure for on-road registered sweeping equipment. You set a terminal rental adjustment clause residual at the start, which determines your payment, and at the end of the term you purchase at that residual, sell the machine and apply the proceeds to the residual balance, or renew. TRAC leases work well for operators who want to manage their equipment upgrade cycle.
Request fan service records (most important), hopper seal replacement history, water system service records, engine oil and filter service logs, and chassis maintenance records. A machine with documented PM service history from a known shop is substantially easier to finance than one with no records at all.
